Our Website Basics

At Choice Awareness, we have spent time and effort in designing our website real estate to ensure maximum usability, high-value content and imagery that engages your senses; the website will be updated in 2016.

Of course, everyone says positive things about their websites, yet we challenge you to stay with us for few minutes of your time and browse around hovering over menus and sub-menus for titles which are more like themes.

One each page, you can also hover over our images where additional insights will be provided why the image was selected.

There is lots of ideas and concepts which will actually have an affect upon you - if you are willing to read, absorb the ideas and undertake to comprehend the meaning and applicability to you and your life.

(Curious Behavior)  We had a conversation with a thirty-something recently at Starbucks and asked if he liked "TED". His response was that it was hard to stay engaged for 15 minutes for any presenter: he wanted a summary like "Cliffs Notes" or "Something for Dummies". We believe if he set his own beliefs in place and began living an On-Purpose life, he could be more discerning in his selections, instead of being the can-kicked-down-the-street, where the kicker (a constant stream of hyper-driven information from multiple sources - see below for more details in this thought stream) determines what you do.

We thought about this curious statement and realized that he was probably raised on "pulsating strategies and push technology" from marketeers of music video styles, device apps and others. These all create attention-span time-phased messages which condition the viewer with and for artificial behaviors - speeding or cranking things-up - we call it steroid perceived-living. We think this produces hyper-sensitivity and we also believe continued exposure creates artificial expectations in our belief systems. We would balance this viewing with reading: we suggest a different living concept we forward in one of our blog articles we call "The Speed of Human-Choice".

(Observation) As an example of how significant and harmful this viewing can be to someone, we site our own experience of returning equipment to a television server provider some ten years ago and while waiting in line, we observed multiple TV screens, some of which displayed music videos which changed views every 1 to 2 seconds vs. sport events and movies which keep the image present for 15, 30 or 60 seconds - sometimes a little longer. It was startling and this observation allowed us to understand why our nation detects hyper-activity in youth and young adults with such prevalence today: what we view conditions us. We have great distain for these advertiziers, mind-conditioners and consider the practices very harmful, verging on criminal behavior: have found them to be excessively used throughout the media, political and other spectrums.

We invite you to drill into the next few sub-menus which describe at a high-level how to navigate using our links.

It's intuitive because you probably already have experience doing this across other sites.

What may come as a shock to you is that we do not allow advertising or other promotional inclusions anywhere on our site...

(Wisdom Sidebar) Depending how you might be viewing us today, you could experience the irritation of ads through many other sources. We apologize for any of those intrusions and/or distractions.

We had You in Mind

Some of our design particulars when we were thinking about how to do this was based solely upon making things helpful for your learning and understanding.

We based our ideas upon keeping things simple and easy to follow as you transition from a set of ideas to others. We also wanted the connections to make sense along the way.

Our main objective is to provide you with as much information, knowledge and wisdom as possible; especially supporting our ideas with common sense, reasonability and evidence:  many such ideas come from antiquity and modern usage from many different sources - the world is your school today and its available through the internet 24/7.

So, please take a look at our explanations to guide you:

  1. Themes - gain an understanding our themes/tabs

  2. Menus - the concepts and usages

  3. Links - supported with evident and other content
